Loveless - Desktop Wallpaper November 2011

On the 4th of November 2011, My Bloody Valentine's critically acclaimed album Loveless turned 20. To mark the event Bobby Solomon of The Fox Is Back asked for me to create a desktop wallpaper for his Sights and Sounds. This project also featured an amazing contribution by Alex Synge, who made a stunning wallpaper for My Bloody Valentine's debut album Isn’t Anything . Both wallpapers can be downloaded below:

Download the wallpaper here.

Family Packs at Chester Beatty Library May 2009

The Chester Beatty Library was established in 1950. It houses the collections of mining magnate, Sir Alfred Chester Beatty. Voted European Museum of the Year in 2002; the museum exhibits manuscripts, miniature paintings, prints, drawings, rare books and some decorative arts from Chester Beatty's impressive Islamic, East Asian and Western Collections.

In 2009 I collaborated with the museum's Education services to write, design and illustrate a set of activity packs for families visiting the museum. The project was supported by the State Street Foundation and was launched in May 2009 by television presenter Brian Ormond.

Family Pack August 2006

In 2006 I helped create a family activity pack for the National Gallery of Ireland. The gallery is home to Ireland's national collection of both Irish and European art. It has an extensive collection of Irish paintings as well as a number of notable works from the likes of the Dutch masters and the Italian Baroque. The pack is designed to help children and families engage with the collection through fun and easy-to-use activities and exercises.

<description>Since 2008 I've worked with the Irish band Funeral Suits in designing the artwork for their singles and EPs. In 2011 they recorded their debut album with producer Stephen Street which will hopefully be released this year. You can also watch a music video which I worked on with the band here.

The Life &#38; Times of Lillian Virginia Mountweazel was a group exhibition held at Monster Truck Gallery, Dublin. It was curated by Davey Moor in March of 2009. The show was inspired by a fictitious entry that appears in the 1975 edition of The New Columbia Encyclopedia:

Mountweazel, Lillian Virginia, 1942-1973, American photographer, b. Bangs, Ohio. Turning from fountain design to photography in 1963, Mountweazel produced her celebrated portraits of the South Sierra Miwok in 1964. She was awarded government grants to make a series of photo-essays of unusual subject matter, including New York City buses, the cemeteries of Paris and rural American mailboxes. The last group was exhibited extensively abroad and published as Flags Up! (1972) Mountweazel died at 31 in an explosion while on assignment for Combustibles magazine.
The exhibition also featured contributions from Teresa Gillespie, Sabina McMahon, Jim M. Ricks, Fiona S. Hallinan and Françoise de Mulneton.
